Week 8 Progress

Image
I am very happy with the progress, I am most proud of my story about the competitive angler. I do have a good weekly routine that I plan to stick with.  I personally enjoy adding the stories to my portfolio and customizing that page. I believe that my website is coming along very nicely and the stories pages are very welcoming and intriguing. I do not plan to really change anything that I am doing in the second half of the semester. I will proofread a lot more . I might try to change the formats of my story a little bit to make it easier for the reader. Week 8 comments and feedback

Image
I believe that the comment portion of this class is very useful wen thinking of future story topics. It allows you to see how other students interpret your story and how you might change them accordingly. The comments I have received have been very useful when editing my stories and portfolio. I believe the comments I have been leaving on my peer’s pages are very beneficial to their story’s improvement. I do believe this is giving me some connection to my peers in this class. I might be a little more critical on my future comments. but that is just a thought. (I thought this picture was very funny, Source: Cats )

Week 8 Reading and Writing

Overall in the Myth and Folklore class I believe the reading and writing assignments are working really well for me. I key in on what I enjoy in the reading assignments and it is making the stories much easier to make. I am very happy with my blog and Project website. I am somewhat satisfied with how the writing is going so far for the project and story posts, I do believe i could possibly up the quality of these posts though. I believe my biggest accomplishment in the writings for this class would be taking the plot from another story and applying it to a totally different story that  have created. My favorite reading so far would definitely be the one where the lion tries to say that all of the portions of the meat are his. The reading notes I have been writing after the readings are definitley helping me when I go to write the story over them, and they help remind me what that story was about.
